# The best family hotels in Quebec City

Written 2026-10-10 by Play Day. Family hotels in Quebec City, inside the old walls and in the Lower Town, on Parliament Hill and the Grande Allée (indoor pools, kitchenette suites), and out in Sainte-Foy for a family with a car.

Quebec City has crêpes inside a walled old town and Bonhomme, the snowman mascot of the Winter Carnival. In winter there's a toboggan slide on the boardwalk.

Inside the walls the hotels sit near the Château, the boardwalk above the river and the funicular down to the Lower Town.

Just outside the walls, the hotels around Parliament Hill and the Grande Allée are bigger and have the pools. Sainte-Foy, out by the bridges, is a suburban option for a family with a car.
