## Orchard Road

It's a heritage hotel with a white tower, a few minutes' walk from Orchard Road's malls and food halls. With the kids next door, the grown-ups get a king to themselves (possibly the best night's sleep of the trip).

Of the two outdoor pools, the main one has a shallower section for children and the other is a quieter Balinese-style pool for whoever gets a turn alone.
