Written 2026-11-03 by Play Day. Where to stay on the Bodrum peninsula with kids, from all-inclusives with piers into the sea to apartments over Paradise Bay with a kitchenette.

Bodrum's harbor has a [crusader castle](https://ourplayday.com/places/bodrum-castle-bodrum) in the middle of it, and inside is a museum of shipwrecks and amphoras pulled up off the Turkish coast. Boats are a big part of the fun here, from pirate-boat cruises to swims in the bays, and there's a [water park](https://ourplayday.com/places/bodrum-aquapark-bodrum) with a lazy river. The resorts around the peninsula go all out for families, with slides, kids' clubs and piers straight into the sea.

## Torba and Gölköy, on the north coast

Torba is a small, quiet village on a bay about ten minutes north of Bodrum town. Farther west, Gölköy and Türkbükü are known for exclusive hotels, seafront restaurants and bars, and for resorts families pick for a relaxed beach week.
