Where to stay on Corfu with kids, which room gives you a second bedroom and which part of the island suits which trip.
For a second bedroom and two bathrooms, Domes of Corfu and Grecotel Daphnila Bay are the two to look at. For a water park on the doorstep, it's Grecotel LUXME Costa Botanica or Aqualand Resort. Bella Mare Hotel has a kitchenette and a separate bedroom on a smaller scale, and Cavalieri Hotel is the one in Corfu Town.
Corfu isn't an island you do from one base with day trips. Most of these are resorts, so the beach, the pools and the kids club shape the week more than the neighbourhood does. The sections follow the island: the Kommeno peninsula and Dassia, the north coast, Glyfada on the west side, and the bay near Corfu Town.
Most have a pool and a kids club. Bella Mare Hotel and Cavalieri Hotel are the smaller exceptions, and what really changes from one to the next is how much room you get once the kids stop fitting on one bed.

Two connecting open-plan bedrooms and two bathrooms in a 56 m² penthouse apartment that sleeps four adults and two kids. There's also a heated indoor pool, which is a gift on a day the sea is too rough or too hot.
Grecoland Kids Club takes kids up to 12, the beach is sandy with a Blue Flag, and a kids pool sits next to the freshwater one. Kids here get into the aqua park at sister resort Grecotel LUXME Costa Botanica too.

Ikos Dassia
Dassia
All-inclusive, with a Heroes Crèche, a Kids Club and a teen club called Just4Teens, all run to UK Ofsted standards, the hotel says. The family room is 50 m², with a balcony and a sea or inland view, for two adults and two kids.
The private beach is sandy, around 600 m long and lined with pine and olive trees, and eight pools are spread over the grounds. The airport is 20 minutes away by car.

Quieter, more spread out and a long way from the airport. These suit a week of beach, pool and not much else.
Grecotel LUXME Costa Botanica
Acharavi
The 40,000 m² aqua park, with slides, a lazy river and a kids pool, is the draw. The beach is a kilometre of natural sand with shallow, calm water in protected bays.
Grecoland takes kids up to 12 and there's a teens programme too. The 46 m² Yucca Family Suite has a king bedroom and a living room with two single sofa beds, for two adults and kids up to 12, in a village-style country house on the ground or first floor.
