Privacy policy

This app helps parents find places that work with kids. Here is what it collects and why.

What we collect

• Account. If you sign in, we store your email address (or the private relay address Apple gives us) and a generated handle. Signing in is optional; browsing never requires it.
• Location. With your permission, your current location is used on your device to sort places by distance. It is sent to our server only as the center and radius of the map you are looking at, and it is not stored.
• What you contribute. Reviews, ratings, answers about a place (for example whether it has high chairs), saved places, photos you upload, and reports you file. Reviews and photos are public and shown with your handle.
• Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, request time) kept briefly for security and reliability.
• How the website is used. On ourplayday.com we count page views and a few actions, such as a search, a tap on Directions or a hotel's booking link on an itinerary, so we can see which places parents look for and where to add more. It is counted in totals, with no cookies and no advertising identifiers, and none of it is attached to your account. Search words are kept without anything that says who typed them.

What we do not do

We do not sell data, show ads, track you across other apps or websites, or use analytics that identify you. The iPhone app counts nothing at all.

Where data lives

Data is stored with Supabase (hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States). Photos are stored in the same service. Place information also comes from OpenStreetMap contributors, published guides, and business owners; that is not personal data.

Your choices

• Delete your account any time from Profile. Your reviews, photos, and saved places are removed.
• Turn location off in iOS Settings; the app then starts from the city center.
• Block other users and report content from any review.

Children

The app is for parents and caregivers. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
