The best family hotels in Warsaw
Written November 2026
Warsaw's big museums make real room for kids. The Warsaw Rising Museum has a play room where museum educators look after kids during the visit, and POLIN has King Matt's Family Education Area, a play and learning space for kids up to 10. Some of the hotels do the same, with playrooms, weekend entertainers and a paddling pool with a little fountain.
Krakowskie Przedmieście and the Saxon Garden
The Royal Route links the city's three royal residences (the Royal Castle, Łazienki and Wilanów Palace), and up here it runs along Krakowskie Przedmieście and Nowy Świat. Almost the whole Old Town at the north end is a reconstruction, colorful townhouses on cobbled streets, done so well that it's on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Behind Krakowskie Przedmieście are Piłsudski Square and the Saxon Garden, with a large fountain by the Italian architect Henryk Marconi.
Sofitel Warsaw Victoria
Saxon Garden
From the Sofitel you look out over the Saxon Garden, the city's oldest public park, and there's a playground by the big fountain right next to the hotel. The Royal Route is a couple of minutes' walk, and the Old Town is about a 10-minute walk.
The indoor pool sits under a mirrored ceiling. Breakfast in Kitchen Gallery is a buffet of Polish and international dishes, with eggs made to order.

Śródmieście, around the Palace of Culture
The Palace of Culture and Science is the big tower in the middle of the city, with four theaters, museums, a cinema, a swimming pool and the Youth Palace inside, and a panorama of Warsaw from the 30th floor. Central Station and the Złote Tarasy mall are right beside it, and trains, the metro, trams and buses all stop here. The Old Town is about 2 kilometers away.
InterContinental Warsaw
Palace of Culture
The InterContinental's pool is up on the 43rd floor, looking out over central Warsaw. The hotel stands next to the Palace of Culture, Central Station and Złote Tarasy, and some of its rooms are sold on their view of the Palace.
The Junior Suite has a king and a sofa bed for one more, and about 750 meters off there's Smart Kids Planet, an indoor play and learning center for babies up to age 10.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Warsaw
Wawer
The DoubleTree has a garden with a playground, and a playroom full of play equipment indoors. On weekends, entertainers look after the kids while parents use the spa.
Breakfast has a separate spread for kids. A taxi or a Bolt gets you to Central Station in about 15 minutes. It's about 4 km to Wilanów Palace, the baroque royal palace, which runs workshops for small kids.
