Lisbon hotels with a separate bedroom for families
Written October 2026

Lisbon's old townhouses are full of apartments now. Kids get a bedroom of their own or bunks and sofa beds in the living room, and with that second layout the grown-ups spend the evening after bedtime in their own bedroom. In a two-bedroom apartment everyone has a door.

Chiado
Martinhal Lisbon Chiado
Rua das Flores
Martinhal is a family hotel chain, and this is its city branch. There's a kids club downstairs, the apartments are laid out for two adults and two children under 12, and the kitchenette handles bottles and early dinners.
The Time Out Market is a few minutes downhill, with a stall for every kind of picky, and Lisboa Story Centre is a ten-minute walk.

Baixa
Lisbon Art Stay Hotel and Apartments
Rua dos Sapateiros, near Rossio
Lisbon Art Stay has two real bedrooms in Baixa, the one flat neighborhood in a city of hills. You can push a stroller out the door in almost any direction (in Lisbon, a small miracle), and the kitchen means breakfast can happen in pajamas.
The Santa Justa lift is around the corner, Lisboa Story Centre and the river are a short walk, and the castle is straight up the hill behind you. The hotel is spread over several buildings on the same street, and an apartment keeps everyone together under one roof. The hotel has cribs on request.

Avenida da Liberdade
The Lisbonaire Apartments
Rua da Glória, by the funicular
The Lisbonaire is a small apartment building with a soft spot for babies. Every apartment has a full kitchen, there's a rooftop terrace for the evening, and the baby bundle of a crib, a stroller and a high chair is free on request (half the nursery you don't have to pack).
Two hilltop gardens are close, the Jardim do Torel playground on one side and the botanic garden on the other, and Avenida da Liberdade's shady promenades are at the bottom of the street.
