The best family hotels in Miami Beach
Written October 2026

Nightlife put Miami Beach on the map, and the hotels have worked out that kids want in on the fun too. The Art Deco is pastel, the neon is on and the beach never turns the music down.
South Beach, below about 23rd Street, is the Art Deco strip with Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road and the crowds. Mid-Beach, from the 29th Street Edition up to the Fontainebleau at 44th, is the resort stretch: bigger hotels, bigger pools, a quieter beach and a boardwalk that runs the whole way. Every hotel here is on the sand. Some run a real kids' club with hours, and others an activities desk by the pool.

At the top of South Beach where it starts to calm down, the Seedlings kids' club is nature-themed and one of the four pools is on the roof. The beach is wide here.

Eden Roc Miami Beach
45th and Collins
Next door to the Fontainebleau and a size down, with a calmer beach and mid-century glamour that doesn't mind sandy feet. One of the four pools is just for kids, and the BECO club takes ages four to twelve. We'd pick it on this stretch with school-age kids.

Faena Hotel Miami Beach
32nd and Collins
A theatrical hotel with gold columns and a mammoth skeleton in the garden, which small kids find as thrilling as adults find it absurd. Faena Play keeps children busy by the pool, with the beach straight across the sand.
