A pink ice cream parlor going since 1958, with banana splits, a mini arcade, and burgers and grilled cheese for the actual meal.

A kids' garden and a water and fog plaza among the downtown lawns, so a walk through Old Town has a cool-off stop.

A German beer garden with shade trees, long tables and cornhole and Jenga on the lawn, so kids play while you finish.

A splash pad with shaded seating right beside it, plus a playground, so whoever's watching gets to sit out of the sun.
