Parks and playgrounds with restrooms in Folsom
4 places.
Beals Point (Folsom Lake State Recreation Area)
A Folsom Lake beach with a big grassy picnic area, kayak and paddleboard rentals and the start of the American River bike trail. How much beach you get depends on the lake level.
Livermore Community Park
A sports park with a very Folsom twist: a replica gold-rush mining flume that pours into a shallow creek kids wade through in summer. There's a playground too.
Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park
The 1895 power plant that first lit up Sacramento, with the giant old generators still inside. Best for school-age kids, and a short walk from Sutter Street.
Lembi Community Park
Folsom's sports park, wrapped around the aquatic center, with playgrounds between the fields and a trail that joins the bike path. Great if a big sibling has a game.
