Pizzeria Delfina

Casual Burlingame Ave spot packed with families: crepes, pancakes and scrambles plus a dedicated kids' menu for ages 12 and under. Counter service keeps it low-pressure.

A Burlingame institution since the 1960s where families have come for generations, with counter service and princess cake by the slice.

Thin-crust margherita pizza, spaghetti pomodoro and a basket of fresh-baked bread, with gelato to finish.

Peninsula breakfast institution (self-billed 'voted best breakfast/brunch') with a real kids' menu for the 10-and-under set. Expect a weekend wait, but it moves.

Pizza place with a proper kids' menu (cheese or pepperoni pizza, or 'chicken in a blanket' with ranch and carrots, drink included) in a casual setting.

Burlingame's oldest park with a playground rebuilt in 2019: slides, nets, climbing walls, swings and outdoor musical instruments on clean synthetic turf. Tennis, dog park and picnic areas too.
