Kid-friendly places in McClellan Park

A space-themed park next to the Aerospace Museum, with a tall spaceship playground for bigger kids, a toddler area and a little fenced splash pad with airplane sprayers in summer.

A hangar and an outdoor field full of real aircraft, plus flight simulators kids can try (call ahead to get a slot). A pretty great rainy-day plan for plane people.
