Playgrounds and things to do with kids in Mill Valley (3)
Old Mill Park
A playground tucked into a magical redwood grove next to the Mill Valley library, with a gentle creek, a replica of the historic Reed Mill, an amphitheater that hosts outdoor story time, and clean restrooms.
Hauke Park
A full-featured little playground - baby, tire and regular swings, climbing structures, a see-saw and play house - surrounded by big lawns and sports fields with Bay and Mt. Tam views, across the footbridge from the Mill Valley-Sausalito bike path.
Muir Woods National Monument
Old-growth redwoods with about a mile and a half of flat boardwalk that takes a stroller as far as Cathedral Grove. Book before you go: parking and shuttle seats are reserved seven days a week, year round, and turning up without one does not work.
